A nice time
A nice time today. It was good to say no to people that wanted too much from me. I like being able be confident enough to say no. Not get sucked into doing too much and then hating myself for doing so. Now the relaxation of the day begins.
A nice summer dress to make me feel outstanding. A small bit of peace and joy that sits when I feel the silk against my skin. So wonderful. A smile outstretches on my face. Indeed a bit of delight weighs in.
Down to the idea of when I exit house to enjoy the sunshine. The enjoyment of reflecting water and sun rays bolting down upon pale but freckled legs. Surely nothing better to do than that. Ah and to rest my eyes for a short time as well.
Removing of hearing aid and just listening to the slamming of the gate or the whipping of the water against the walls. Yeah contentment in the best form of all. I smile big.
Even better if people are there. Wonders of watching. Ah and I read too. Just depends on the mood. Plenty to do when I am sated. Perfectly, imperfect seated absorbing the best gift given. Life. Love of nature. People. Even friends. Neighbors.
A sweetness in how things may go. No need to guess. Just go enjoy.
Yet I am waiting for a little bit for the sun to come down just a little. Giggling and just thinking. Maybe a bit too much but it is all for the greater good. Indeed.
