Odd positions

I find myself asleep in the most odd position in an uncomfortable chair. Freezing and wanting so badly to be in my own bed. Yet now wide awake because of the crimp in my neck.

Coffee is life when frozen and stiff.

Getting up I find myself ready to have cardboard coffee from a machine. A steady hope that the craziness finds us both uprooted and back home.

Still, stretching my legs and rubbing my arms I get up. Thankful to be awake and no sudden changes in the night.

My mind begs me to step outside. Yet the soul is weary. I just step outside of the room,  head down to machines and just stand there praying for support.

A lean my head against my hands and yawn. I need so much more sleep. Yet it's time to be alert. Reading the daily scripture I am grateful.

Now just yawning more and noting my fuzzy teeth. Hoping a toothbrush near. Alas I go back to the room. Grateful I did not wake my mom. Slowly try to find a comfortable spot and push myself back to sleep. Just though long enough to make it the rest of the day.

Now I say good morning. And good night. Falling back to sleep. More later, hopefully good news.
