A day completed
A day finally over. Now time to relax and adjust any part of me out of whack. A slow rub down with medicated ointment. Yes I will say that all because I am not ashamed of my aches and pains. I worked hard, steadily. It was a good day.
As well knowing what I can and cannot do I think I am soaring with knowing only a scalding hot shower and ointment is needed. Plus lots of water. A good hour sitcom and sleep in a little while.
Certainly grateful for the long day to be completed and the lessons I learned. So much one day can hold and only so much I can retain before I crash.
Now seated in my golden wing back chair. Absorbing myself deep within. Covered with my blanket and just nodding here and there. 6am to almost 10 pm length and exhaustion holds heavy covers over my eye lids.
Now a break and fixing a light dinner like snack. Nothing too heavy to cause me to be up all night. A slight bit of kindness as I smile today.
Thank you for being on my mind. Even in the voice and on my memories. Slight laughter of a Florida adventure.
And then I hold a deep sigh. Good times but well deep inside. Again I smile just recalling it.
And now I say my long hellos into the night. Hugging myself as my butter mingles with blackberry jam. Calming and peaceful.
A hug for all who I miss.
