  Words play on a melody.
Uplifting. Just as you were.

  Tokens I'd give to hear your
thoughts right now. Even
if they were mundane. Even if
they were mean, I would
listen.

  Patience as I pray. Looking
in the mirror. I smile as I
recall your image behind me.

Just for a second. Flashed and gone.
 
 Oh how most of the the songs
I listen to are ones you suggested.
Great selections. The irony
of some.

  Yet I can recall even
moments of complete silence
and just watching and
observing. Just as fascinating
as the teaching.

  Oh the mind jumps.

  The heart races. The
smile creases high across
my face. A small chuckle
exits my throat.

  Oh I ache for just
to see you watching
just once again.

Even if it was accidental.
Or in passing.
