A questionnaire
Laying here thinking about this cute questionnaire my cousin had up on fb. Something short and sweet. Just the tip of the iceberg of who I am. I love answering specific questions.
Yet the only three things I really loved was the want of mountains. Not sure where I would go for mountains. I have an idea but I also really love the city vibe too.
Then that drew me to thinking about France and my favorite flowers - the Paris daisy or the marguerite daisy. Tiny little weeds but the most beautiful flower to me. I mean gerbera daisies are pretty but don't catch my breath like the others.
Then I leaned more into the subject of the mountains and city life not too far from each other. Simple pleasures of great food, family and relaxation.
Then as I was thinking about family the questionnaire had "who, what were you named for?". I started to recall my first name was after a Great Aunt who died without children and of breast cancer. My middle name was because of a young lady my mother went to nursing training with. My last name is my surname but long before my great grandfather was born it was spelled two different ways. One family side spelled it one way and the other side spelled it another. Kind of strange.
Then the next tangent went off into the subject of my mother's great grandparents how the husband died and less than a year the wife passed leaving her grandfather to be raised by his grandparents and aunts, whom he considered sisters. Such a loss. He was only 44 and she was only 22. Sadness. How much they loved each other.
Then more and more tangents broke out and then I yawned. Signalling myself for bed. Early morning fun coming my way.
Indeed time for sleep. Tangents shutting down and electric paper gets my words tonight verses parchment or canvases.
My day was energetic and fun. I enjoyed all seconds and as the hours pulled the sun to settling for the navy blue sky. I just relaxed.
Simple breaths and lots of smiles.
Plans are in motion. Many joyful sights and actions to follow through on in next few weeks.
Smile. Be happy, alone or in companionships. Enjoy sleep and wake tomorrow with goals to achieve just as I am.
