Don't dwell

Sat here after work listening to a poem called "Complainers" by Rudy Francisco and felt he read my reasons to keep going in life.

Listen to it and see.

Then the ending of say you are still alive, act like it. Don't dwell on how bad things could have been. Just be grateful you still are alive. You still breathe.

And with everything said you just keep going. Seeing the positive. Why? Because there are worse things that could have happened.

Sigh. The way I keep going. Sure I have my ups and downs but I don't like to sit and pull out every strand of blah and talk about it. Let me look around, away from the situation and find the positive in the whole ordeal.

Goodness I recall my accident last year. Thrown from the car and car moved 20 ft in between building and phone pole. Only thing I came home with was a head concussion, bruising on ribs, hips and shoulders. Thoroughly said I was in a bubble and was grateful that nothing else happened. For that was all positive. Never spoke many words at work about anything.

Just kept working.

Truly don't complain. Don't dwell on the negative. Don't let your life drown you. Especially when you are capable of so much.

Just had to mention what a great piece and how it makes me realize just how blessed those times were.  Things could have been worse but I made it out.

How about You? What about now?
