My support
A splash of of water to run down
my fingertips. How I want to erase
the memories of this season.
To shut out all the picking.
All the arguments that start
because of my changes. The differences
I have made to please Jehovah.
Oh the trials I am placed with.
The words that I find patience with.
How I must stay loving and kind
amongst the hatred, the warring.
All the battles I, still, stand
clear. Holding my hand is Jehovah.
To him, in my mind, I give numerous
thanks.
So happy to be able to walk
away from someone who wants to
control, who wants to argue. Knowing
whatever fire they toss at me, I
am supported by Jehovah.
How could I ever walk away
from a support system as Jehovah?
Why would I?
Would you leave all
that Jehovah offers to walk alone
in the midst of a war?
