A pigment tale
I strike away at this pigment.
Severely unaware that no more
can be squeezed out. I laugh at
how, here, I push and push for
one tiny drop when a full tube beckons
to be used. Ironic.
~~~~ SIGH~~~~
Le sigh of all sighs. Cynical.
I pick up tube to try once more.
One loud gush of liquid air goes
splat all over my jeans.
Stubborn, yes. Optimistic, anally.
A miser of sorts, perhaps.
Striving to last drop, always.
Snorting because laughter out of control.
Long story concluded. Pigment,
bright neon orange, displayed well and
good on canvas and denim.
Trully a priceless work of
art. To make millions of water drops
dance in glory of "oohs" and "ahhs"
as they tear this pigment to shreds.
Funny how a wash is very much like
disappearing ink. Colors arrive on the
worst, most unlikely garment.......
WHITE!
