Do you feel like walking with me in the early morn?

Did you hear it? Did you see it? Did you feel it?
Oh come now, you must have. The wind blowing,
stirring up a small storm only to entice the soul to
drift outside. Standing, allowing the freshness of
the morning dew to sink deep into the lungs.

Careful of the steps you make. Careful of those
who you love. Careful of the objects that make
you stumble, of the people that create barriers.

Did you hear the wind whistling up against
the hard brick? Can you feel the crispness inside
your mouth, down your throat? Does that not feel
the most refreshing? Sharp, cold air fueling your
every step.

Oh come with me, I beg. Let me show you how
much joy I have on a walk. The solo dance of
my soul intermingling with my spirit in grand, soft
joy. Can you see how happy my eyes shine? Did
you see the giddiness in my steps?

Hear my giggles that escape my rosy lips. Join
in with me, over a hearty laugh as two squirrels
battle over a single nut. Then continue to stroll
with me as leaves, branches fall all around. Hear
the clatter as they land and the crunch as we
pounce upon them.

Softly I smile. I wanted to whisper to you, the
zeal of my walks but to entertain your memories,
your thoughts as I thank Jehovah for his creations and
my company, is a thousand times more amazing.
Come, smile with me.

All the way down the road, we travel, briskly
inhaling coldness. Taunt, chapped lips spread thin
over clenched teeth. Yes please, believe this is
more fascinating to me than a book or movie. Such
a soothing adventure that I chose to take.

So do you want to walk with me the next time
I take on the world, the wind in the early morn?
Well seek me out and I will be patiently awaiting
your precious company.

Until then smile and know that nature is so
rewarding for there is one more day I get to see
the colorful palette of Jehovah's spread wide open.
One more day to be grateful to breathe, open eyes
and stand tall holding onto my place at our
Father's table.

Do you think you will be there, seated next
to me? Enjoying the various conversation of all
brothers and sisters?

So what do you say - are you going to
join me with the simplest, radiant joy of an
early morning jaunt in nature?
