A unique piece of sand

  Tiny whispers. Then giggles. How lost I was in
the past. Careful of the remembering. Careful of
those thoughts that can tear down, can break.

  Look around and see the joy, beauty
everywhere. Warming sunshine eliminating
the frosted, icy exteriors. How simple it
all seems.

   Open eyes to really look. Heart pulled to
feel a calming. Relaxation to say, "Yes I am
going to be just fine."

   Hold tightly. Hold the softness and nod to
agree that we all will be moving forward.
Keeping the pace with the world but never
forget that we are so different. That is how
Jehovah sees us. Each one is a special
piece of sand. Absorbing and learning in
our own ways.

   Such grand gifts that Jehovah has given each
one of us. All common point is our respect,
trust and love of Jehovah. The compassion of
all those stuck in a bleak world. We strive to
approach with the most gratifying news. Do
any listen? Jehovah knows.

   So my brother, my sister I am happy that
you took time to help me. One who thought
life was at worst. To start fresh and begin baby
steps to the right ways, so hard at first but
still learning. Oh Jehovah, I thank you for
seeing my heart, for showing many that I am
home.

  So for the memories. Press back. Push forward.
Yes I fall. All I ask is that you raise me up.
Throw me what you can to help make stronger.
Love me in alll my difficulties. Love me for
being that piece of sand. One who wants to
be, forever, a part of your family.

  Yes at moments I cry. Yes there are moments
I don't want to talk about anything. Some days I
just want to walk, quickly, away. These are
moments I need you the most. Sometimes that
forceful hug is a necessity. I laugh because I can
recall a sister telling me her hugs are very
theraputic. Yes, my sister, more than you will ever
understand.

   Ah how the tears fall. Now I must prepare for
the world. Strength and courage, I press forward.
So if you see me, smile or hug. I am in need
of all I can get.

   Would you smile for me today?

   Would you hold me tightly until I laughed?
