Encouraged by midnight water

   Golden sparkles twinkle in
the deepest, darkest blue black sky.
Shining a story, itching a thought
to trigger.

Rain tickling the bare fields. Rough
sidewalks race to greet the moisture.
Spinning in air, the droplets pound
the earth. Spiralling down crisp, green
stalks of grass.

I close my eyes to hear, listen
to the sky unleash the water. The cloud
squeezing tight and flashing of white
blue light throughout the midnight
darkness.

Tiny I feel the rage of the rumbling
thunder. Encouraged to absorb the beauty
in the event. Stand, observing the
power of Jehovah. Strength I gain from
this display.

Seeing, hearing the cleansing of the
earth. In such awe. Draw in the
inspiring words of Jehovah's creation
pressed inside my memory. A grand
painting. First etched then carefully are
the brilliant colors chosen.

Striking a chord, a heart string.
A glow of soft gray smiles. Then rose petals
part, increasing the show of cream
pearls.

A happy note. An inner peace.

Do you see, feel it too?
