An exhaustion to press sleep

Chills that slip down my spine.
Changing skin from snowy white to
an ashy gray.

   Sickness forms. Bile beckons
up and down throat.

Oh how sleep is so very much
desired and still I must press on.

   Place foundation and blush over
face. Squeeze cheeks to awaken
the blood.

Oh how my eyes blink back the
weariness and exhaustion.

Lovely how far I can go to give
happiness and encouragement to those
around me. Only with Jehovah.

So please forgive my haste as I
exit the building after my pleasantries.

Oh how horrid weather can be
on weak bones and muscles. I shall
not scream nor persue bragging of
my pain.

   Several levels of tolerance.
Now a massage soothes the eyes
closed for some much needed rest.

So comfort me in thought, in prayers.
Comfort me in memories, in dreams.
