Say good night, yes?
So sensitive are the temples. The nerves pinched,
irritating me so much that even my skin aches.
Ah swallowing some ginger ale to coat two pills
of advil. The pain, the throbbing soon to cease. Also
less and less of of lights in room seems to make
soul tired. Good news to mind.
Propped up in silk and cotton. Warmth in beige and
turquoise. Soon the eyes will drift off and the arms
limp.
One by one the the thought taper off. Dreams become
more and more random.
Hearing, waiting for a moment to shine I sit here
with a silent hope. Do you want to hear it?
Lean forward to soak in aroma of mint, almond oil
and egyptian musk. So soothing, yes?
Now eyes are blinking to stay awake. I hear only
a few words here and there. So much sleep
beckons.
A need to feel. So where do I drift?
Smile for me one more time even though it
is in my dreams. Say good night. Hold tight to
sweet memories.
