A grand adventure called to ends
Today has been a long day. Whew! Just finished for
the evening. I do so love how friends and family
gather to boost me up.
I do so enjoy few random acts of kindness from
others and I try to do the same, to pass on the
generosity. So a gentle, heartfelt thank you to all that
have made this day off truly AMAZING!
A start of happiness was waking a few hours too
early only to sit and watch as the sun emerged from
pitch black skies.
Then my mother offered to pay for a new tail light
on my car. Since such a safety issue she could do
no less.
Must I not forget to remember the best surprise
of gifting: the simple weedy stem of yellow blooms.
The one action that pulled me through entire day.
For not once did a smile leave my face. As day
progress the cheeks grew wider and wider.
Ah how even now, still, happiness oozes from
my pores.
Brr. The bitterness of chills sweep over me and
still a grin holds fast. I jump in excitement, in joy
all because a hope was granted. Thank you Jehovah.
So now trying hardest to relax, settle in for evening
but so cold even inside apartment. Oh how I beg,
repeatedly, to my mother the air conditioner is not a
necessity with thirty degree weather just outside
doorway.
Such a solid joy that overcame today all because
someone was kind, thoughtful and giving. My glow
showed across face towards all that I saw, met. Even
to those I had plans with. They all had to inquire
on the shiny facial expressions. Perhaps my smile
is not something people see very often. All I could
say to them was, "the smallest bit of earth was given
to me."
Now sitting here recalling day, I am finally able
to calm down over the busiest parts of the day.
Looking ever so fondly to a nice cup of cinnamon,
vanilla tea and a scalding hot waterfall. Easing aches,
if any, with soft hints of berries, honey, citrus and
melon aromas soothing over skin. The soul
intertwined with cotton, lace and raw silk down
full length as I massage cocoa butter an brazil nut
into feet. Soon encasing them in warm fleece footies.
I am definitely comfortable now. Hmm.
Eyes hold tight to the memories made, the
laughter created and shared and the tender moments
spent. An awe inspiring day, to say very least. So all
those included in making day stand out, thank you.
You were much loved in your thoughts of me today.
I would never have believe that anyone really listened
to what I wrote nor said.
So tonight I give thanks in prayer for all that
transpired today. To all that gave their best to make
me shine brighter and to those I don't even know,
that helped create a breathtaking adventure for me.
I am so grateful.
