A sunshine thought
Did you hear the words
awaken in the sunlight?
Listen. Hear me talk to you.
I will wait until Paradise unfolds before
us. To hold. To dream.
Always a hope. Always dreaming
of the possibilities as they unravel.
Open mind to all that is there.
I step one foot in front of other.
My heart whispers but my conscience
ignores. The spirit raises on the words, on
the hope of some day, a yes.
Oh how warm and delightful the
sun is. Waking paleness to light kisses
of the ultraviolet.
Sent shivers recalling a time when
laughter was hidden and joy only sparkled
in sapphires.
Oh grateful Jehovah found me.
His wandering child.
Oh how a song softens the
thoughts. No longer do they hurry to
bring pain upon soul.
Only memories race across closed
lids. Remembering a rare love. A wave
that even seems so distant now.
A mind, a memory, a soul presses
on in tiny hopes. Colorful dreams.
People. Places. Only in dreams do you
weigh down into heart. Still none bring a
severe sadness. Just a thought. Just a concern.
Something I place into Jehovah's
hands. No need for me to feel their pain,
experience their sorrow.
Oh see now as I squint into the blazing,
radiant sunshine I am happy. My cinnamon
red turns to firey orange hinted by burnt
sienna.
Did you feel my stare? Did you hear
my voice in the wind? Did you see my smile?
Come with me, walk. Talk.
