Driving music
Ah a slight change in weather as I drive. Soft
drops of rain mixing with pellets of hail and a strong,
brisk wind. Oh how getting out of car was dreaded.
The crisp air burrowed deep through wool and three
layers of warmth. Brr to say least.
Hmm. Being decked out in warmth, in home sounds
delicious. Too bad I don't have a fireplace nor
company of a pet to bring any extra warmth.
Here, now sitting inside work. Realizing I arrived too
early. Allowing self to soak into musical vibrations.
An older song comes across. A Vince Gill song called
" I still believe in you".
Such an encouraging uplift melody. Some think it is
about a relationship among people but I don't. I
think of it as a relationship with Jehovah and with
nature. I realize that Mr. Gill was referring to first
situation but shows that I could feel as though it is my
relationship with Jehovah.
What do you think?
Yes sometimes I like to think it is about relationships
in general but I am not in one so I don't gripe about it.
Anyhow. Now onto Enigma. Hmm soothing groove
that releases tension straight out of soul. Looking out
window so grateful I am inside.
Still recalling previous day. Friends, family and
shocking surprises. Still I smirk causing coworkers
to ask why the smile.
Ah now I must turn off music. Prep to get on sales
floor. First checking schedule. Same, of course.
Looking forward to helping as many "guests" as
possible and a few random friends too.
Really looking forward to the end of work and going
home. The warm clothes, covers. Jumbayla in the
slow cooker and a good movie, book to warm core.
Perhaps a British victorian movie.
Hmm good dreams of friends, of family. Hopefully
no odd nightmares tonight. Only dreams that lift and
help shine.
So if tonight is cold for you wrap tightly into a warm
sweater or blanket and as you are doing so, think
that I am there giving you a hug.
Take care my wonderful family, spectacular friends.
I love you all and I hope a warm, settle evening for
you all.
