A joke can be a lesson too
Dear me, dear me. I do so chuckle over the last poem.
Too much, in fact, to the snorting, cackle noise. This
is bad, yes? Laughing so hard I create such ruckus
and crying fits. Oh no, no not one single tear did
drop in sorrow. All in overzealous joy.
Hmm. I smile grand and mischievously. Oh this is
the "I am going to get into something" smile from
childhood. Love remembering myself as a goofy,
ornery child. Always giving laughter to someone.
Even at moments I added bits of embarrassment
too.
Do someday ask about my "duck walk". Such a nasty
child in that. Yet unknown of difference in people
back then. I do recall the redness my mother and
grandmother turned as they both noticed my
unkind behavior and all that were staring at my
joke. In essence it was far from funny. I ridiculed
someone I knew nothing about.
Needless to say that day I learned that there are
times for jokes and times for discipline. Later
learning how wrong I was in my actions. So rude
and inconsiderate of the person and family.
Ah so many lessons I have learned throughout my
life. So many more to learn. This is why I keep
applying what has been and is being taught.
Allowing the time that is necessary to absorb every
meaning inside. Teachings of Jehovah that help
me live. Be grateful that I am still breathing, still
alive and enduring.
So for my friends and family, yes, there are so many
memories that are stored inside of me. I would be
happy to relate the story of my experiences, my
memories. Even happier to make new ones. So come,
let us do that.
Help me experience, learn something new.
