Why does truth hurt

I did what is right.
I had a clear conscience
but why does it hurt to
tell the truth.

How is that helpful when
in a process I hurt another.

All I know for sure is that
Jehovah bless me for doing
right. My efforts as hard
as they were are noted.

Still I chide self. Back to the
Bible and to Scriptures that
strengthen me.
