My primary painting
Create a whirlwind of
vibrant colors.
Caress over the stark
white canvas. Splatter
the browns, the blues, the
reds.
Vibrate the love lost. Echo
the hurt, still a flash of yellow
with copper. A hope that beckons
to be seen.
Soft greens calm the loss.
Light blue drips everywhere.
A streak of black for division.
A second lighter line, charcoal asks
to be reckoned with. A second
chance, change.
Do you feel? See? Distinct is
the form, the media.
Etched grooves carry large,
deep amounts of oil, acrylic, water.
Still it can be smoothed.
Dancing across the danger, dark
world is this radiant red. Sharing her
happiness.
Did you smile with hope
for her, me?
