Dangerous highlights

  Lives are toyed with. Memories
are spurred. Distance is travelled
  to drift craters.

   Come be by my side. All I wanted
to say. Once and be happy decisions
   were right.

    That words can mean, to me,
just as much as the actions shown.
  Pray, hope and awareness.

   Colors splash across the bleak
sky. Raging storms crash flashes of
hot light. Midnight seems so
far away yet it has only just passed.

    Crawl to the hem of dark blue.
I look up to see highlights of dark,
ever changing greens.

    Oh how do I react? Such a wonderous
sight. Dangerous yet breathtaking.

    Hand and hand. Entertwined. I close
my eyes and tears vibrate down my
lashes. Create tiny streams down
my freckled cheecks.

    A smile in the midst of uncertainity.
   I know I will be okay.
