I remember, I felt
Echoing silent wind. Softly playing
melodies on my skin. Tickling my
senses. Just as you did.
Cool, sticky night breaks down the
soul. Carries the mind to even breaths.
Deep, even sounds that I felt.
Knowing the quiet, soothing warmth
makes me smile. The lines crease over
my eyes as I recall a moment.
Laughter. Ever so soft. Gentle how it
creates a glow of happiness. Dare I ask
if you recall.
Shy moments. Learning. Do you remember
the firsts? Can you recall me quivering,
embarrassed?
Oh I try to pull away as the redness
creeps up. Yes mixed emotions. Scared,
embarrassed and lost. Not empty.
Picking up where was left.
Am I strong yet? No. Just a
thought of your smile, your hand on my
shoulder tell me I will be okay.
Ah as tears fall down my cheeks, down
the tip of my button nose. One you used
to kiss.
Best to just let them fall, clear out.
Then hope for a hug from you.
Some day.
