Hostility in workplace

   Still today I have to remind myself
that people in world are full of
hate, self absorption and racism.

   Floored at the response I
get some days, when I help someone.
A simple thank you
would be nice, not attitude.

  Don't use my color as the reason
you brought the nasty speech
upon me.

   I walked away. Asked to
do job. Still you pushed. Leave it
be because I forgave you for your
indifferences and mine.

   This is the reason there are
hostile work environments. I rather
ask for forgiveness and be labelled
a coward to you, by you but Jehovah
sees my efforts.
