Life's positive lessons

Life little quirks and surprises.
I do so love them.

How some days can lead to heartache
and some days can lead to laughter
and tiny ripples of excitement.

Today definitely was part of the
second. I had such relief fall
from my shoulders.

Grateful for the Scriptures given
to me. The many encouraging words
to help me and the learning
process I gained.

So grateful of this reminder.
I almost had forgotten a few
sentences I wrote as a young
adult.

Life is not always nor even
often about getting what we want.
More by far often times it is
about doing our duty,
doing what we know is right and
being considerate of all those
involved in situations.

Kind of a nice reminder to self
for many years to come. Along
with kind reminders from
friends and family how could we
go wrong.

I hope not to be persuaded to look
back yet a person never forgets, erases
past just learns to erase the emotion
involved because people change.
Jehovah, with prayer, moves us forward.

What else could be more grand
than God giving a helping hand in
times of need? Ah how learning
from lessons given make positive
turnovers for us. All we have to
do is apply to self. Not just today
but until the end of the system of
things.
