Tomorrow's sugary dream
Waves upon waves of turbulence tumbles inside
my head and stomach. Oh the calm I gain when my
eyes close.
A necessity of a small amount of sugar. Just one
taste. Yet all must wait until tomorrow.
Now layers upon layers of cotton and fleece
keep the paleness from a chill. Absorbing the warmth
that hung over the day. Ah how still I was chilly.
Laugh with me dear friend for even in eighty
degree weather I am still cold. Ah but would I be any
different in one hundred degrees? Oh no. Just one
layer less. La.
Now just propped up legs and feeling all nice
and cozy. Time for some dreaming to come about.
Looking forward to a good night of sleep.
Even now my eyes are drooping. Silencing any
sights before eyes. Hmm. Softly I lay motionless only
to jerk awake once more.
So say good night dear friend. See all that
dreams can be well into the night. I would give hugs
but encouraging, kind words is all I feel you can
handle.
So please enjoy the last couple of hours of
nighttime.
