Hope for a dance
Ah this grand morning I woke from my sleep in
slumber. No stiffness just joy that I got to wake up.
Thank you Jehovah for this calm breath of fresh air.
My spirit soars so high that I just jump out of bed
and start twirling around room. So silly but the
happiness bursting from within reminds me of
the Lee Ann Womack song "I hope you dance".
Searching, searching for my Ipod. Certain that I
have the song. Ah ha indeed there it is. Absorbing
mind into the words. The memory of the person
who gave me the song: my sister. Ah us swinging
ourselves around in circles. Running. A gentle, sweet
memory of dancing.
I now begin to dance even more. So much that
I fall to the floor in giggles. Ah how fun it all was.
My mind and eyesight are all fuzzy and dizzy.
Absolutely love it. Closing my eyes to rest and
straighten out the kinks. Hmm. A stretch to pull
myself back up.
Oh getting ready for this day of secular work.
So happy it is the middle of the week. Two days left
of the week and a wonderful, free weekend. Hmm
joyful to not to rush anywhere.
So happy. I hope you are too.
Small are the thoughts inside my head but
bounding is the meaning. An abundance of love and
Joy sent to all I love. Simple are my goals to attain
today. Soaring are the hopes and dreams. Anything
is possible when I have faith in Jehovah.
Turning once more and off into the car I go.
Listening to Refugee by Tom Petty.
Hmm softly a smile crawls upon my pale,
freckled face. Bringing a soft glow of happiness as
my blue eyes dance.
Yes I hope you dance.
