Good night lullaby
One last song to sing before bedtime.
A soft melody that calms the soul and smoothes the
roughness down upon paleness.
Opening up the vocal chords to dream
a lullaby. Still a whimper escapes. Ah just let go. Fall
into the sleep that eyes and mind are in need of.
A sad cradling melody that enters into
the mind. The rocking of an empty swing from a low
branch. Hmm yes feeling of the breeze.
Ah seated curled up into a cozy ball inside
a golden tapestry chair. Listening to the tapping of
the querky keyboard. Clickety clack.
Thoughts that tumble down. Hoping deep
for a moment, one less of stinging.
Yes. The sigh escapes and relaxation
overcomes. Hmm listening, once again to my last
song of the night. So sing with me.
My childhood favorite: Mary had a little
lamb. La yes you must be laughing. However so
soothing.
Good night friend. Remember that you
laughed, the smiled after you sang a sweet song.
