Song of silliness

Silent joys are here. I just know it. They have to
be Jehovah.

Shh my I say to myself. No need to get worked
up. Lean upon your Father, Jehovah. He will support
me. (Philippians 4:6,7 NWT)

Still I must smile because today is one more
day of lessons. Ah but still a frown wants to sit upon
my face. Oh how I cannot allow that.

One day at a time. The songs inside will sing
their melodies. They will bring the spirit back to
joy. Oh how I laugh at how silly that sounds yet I hope
for it.

One tiny whisper that beckons another line.
Drawing more and more words until the poem
becomes a song. Just need to open up and listen.

Small are the steps. Carefully placed are the
tiptoes. Gracefully I dance around holding tight upon
a dream, a hope.

Oh laugh with me as I stumble over my own foot
and crash to the floor in a crumpled mess. Loud
echoing giggles erupt and silliness sits down inside
my soul.

Still so much joy beams outside of my soul. My
blue eyes shining so brilliant. Ah the mysterious
smile is seated upon freckled cheeks and rosy lips.

Come, join me in a melody of laughter. Yes the
singing of silliness.
