A room with chairs
Sights and sounds. Explored well and yet the day
has just begun. Amazing of the nutrients given to the
earth and all of us. Softly, tenderly kissed by Jehovah.
No longer are there tears that fall. Emptied are the
echoes in the wind. All is quiet, calmed by Jehovah's
kindness. Ah a peace that rolls deep within me. Such
radiant joy follows.
Behind me are the noises of yesterday. Hopes that
needed more pushings. Not going to give up on them
just going to add them to today's dreams and hopes.
Seems as though the lists continue on and on. Yet I
am happy that the hopes don't end. Where would be
the joy if hope died?
Ah yes the many reasons of why I cannot explain.
Oh how the simplicity that swarms around my soul.
The eyes may be spoiled but the conscience is cautious
and alert.
Today brings a soothing moment of joy to rosy lips.
Ah a soft memory that caresses the mind. An
anniversary of sorts. The mind soothed by some
blues. Softened by the words of everyday life. Ma
Rainey and Bessie Smith sure know how to draw a
soul to listen.
Ah and to recall the introduction to Josephine
Baker. La the love of the blues and classical big bands.
Ah childhood is a grand reminder of laughter and
dancing around the great room (room of all chairs).
Giggles of two girls.
La still my watery cornflower eyes drip. Yet I still
am standing in radiant sunlight overpowered with
joy. Ah gracious to find a friend who listens. Ah a
new yet old woven tapestry. Grateful for the new
threads, the new journey opening up.
Now off to get busy into the work day.
Anything is possible, eh, dear friend? Right?
