The talk

I liked our talk today. And it reminded me of my ancestors. I mean the factors of why the past was so just hush hush. To bring forth the information that parts of my family warred against each other not just as strangers but as siblings. Their religion is what caught my attention.

For the majority I was raised southern Baptist but as I dove into my father's side I realized that they were not Methodists. They were cast out Jewish people. They had renounced their faith and despite the strong views of family. They proceeded to be Quakers, Mennonite and Methodists.

That led me on a trail because this talk spoke of the Sabbath and how important it was to Judea and those in the Mosiac Law.  And still you ask why does that bring me to my family?

The changes that happened people began to add more or give a stipulations as how and what you can do on the Sabbath. This brought me to the Torah I found. It is remarkable how just one family can make so many changes to 10 commandments.

And today I truly understood why my family walked away. Everything got so carried away. To take in consideration that today there are Rabbis who specialize in telling what people can and can't do for Sabbath.

It makes me think, how far from the treasure of Jehovah are you? Yet it is not my place to judge. I cannot claim to fully understand the ways people are taught. All I can do is love them. Pray for them.

And as much as I may sound naive in many aspects of other religions I am one to research it extensively to comprehend. So that is where I go from here.

This talk today gave me much to research and meditate over. Researching and gaining a new understanding.

That is part of the riches Jehovah gives.
