Nature can heal
I stood there drenched in sweat looking out over the water. Truly felt as though I belonged there.
Life takes twists and turns. Yet I thought of only one person as I made my trek. Then I sighed as the day and the breeze pulled me along the pathway.
Beckoning me to stand still and just breath. Nothing more to think about but the calm I held.
And even as I sought out nature for photos I couldn't help just imagining a world at peace. No more war and hate. No more pain and anguish. No more sins.
Then I thought of that one person. It felt as though even my heart paused. The silence that surround me, only thing that emptied the emotions was the breeze.
I was reminded that nature and Jehovah's gifts can heal me. Reading his words in Joshua and Matthews today really helped be calm.
The the tiniest of workers reminded me if Proverbs 6:6. Then the thoughts of nature and forgiveness overtook me.
Slowing down to enjoy the simple pieces of life. Even right at this moment I am. Enjoying an ice cream and listening to the birds.
All I ask is that I continue to learn and grow. As for the one I thought of, well growth and love is all I hope for.
