The way I am

A bounce of cinnamon, copper curls encasing a pale
ivory, freckled face. Eyes startling, bright blue. A
smile riding high over cheekbones, waving ever
strong for all passing by. A confidence that was
radiating from every left then right stride I made.

Ah yes I did, indeed, have a wonderful day at work.
The stresses of the weekend passed, beginning of
the week blues faded away. I was able to enjoy every
minute of being the quirky Mary so many rarely see.

The laughter that vibrated throughout my entire soul
when those who surrounded me inquired on the
curls, the smile and the attire. Ah what does it matter?
I feel beautiful and I wanted to show everyone just
that. Nothing more and definitely far from less.

Nowhere was there room for a negative thought, nor
action. Ah the joy that came from me made all others
shine as well. I am happy that I gave a few, some
happiness for today. Ah such given were kind, gentle
words, encouragement and gifts. So much more to me
were the smiles returned, the surprised reactions.
Ah indeed, Jehovah is great for pulling all the
negativity from within my spirit. The doubt and
bitterness taken away.

Still I must voice the concern I had for friends, for
family. All is still there but only hinted not submerging
me in swampy waters. No more tension migraines
all for the sake of concern of my friends choices,
actions.

Now I am sitting at home. Ever clear of knowing how
much I am appreciated at work. Three cards to say
how much they enjoyed my progress in my area. Wow!
The day gets better as I find ways to pull the creativity
out for friends and family. So much excitement has
the coil inside me wound so tight. Might be up for
a while tonight. Hmm we shall see.

I hope tomorrow brings me closer and closer to seeing
those friends, family I miss dearly. Looking forward
to my long awaited adventure in nature in the
morning. Hopeful that it is the added bonus of the
week.

Ah for those I am missing, I hope your week concludes
to being joyful and fulfilling. All are in my thoughts
and prayers. Many of you are in my hopes and my
dreams.

I smile so big. Still so giddy over today. Then to come
across words that uplifted even more. Ah such a
friend to make a suggestion. I enjoyed indeed.

Happiness is always possible when you have hope,
faith, love and dreams. Ah the want to give a huge
bear hug to you right now. The wind will have to
suffice. For you to see this cheesy grin, I think anyone
would laugh. I know I did.

My dear friend I hope wherever you are, you are doing
well. Keeping yourself close to Jehovah, looking to
the Scriptures for uplifting, finding all sorts of arts,
crafts and music to keep pushing you forward in the
most positive thoughts of all. (If not I will push you
in my prayers)

Ah I sigh and wrinkle up my nose. A smirk arrives
once more and words push for their voice. Now you
can see what I had to say. I love all the changes,
dear friend. So keep it going strong. Press harder,
closer to stay with Jehovah and whenever in doubt
lean upon Jehovah for your understandings.

Ah. La. Off to do some evening errands. The
suggestions were greatly appreciated. Now I send
smiles your way with hopes and dreams to inspire
you once more.

I send a kiss for each cheek and for your forehead.
Take care my dearest friend. Look forward to hearing,
seeing, receiving any words/gifts of encouragement.

Once more a hug and a smile sent your direction.
