Pinned mystery
Ah one by one the pins come loose. Ah the
release of cinnamon, copper strands. All falling down
shoulders to mid back. Soft waves.
Prepping for a nice cup of hot chai rooibos tea.
All for little odd me. I lean back into sofa allowing the
aroma of spices drift up to my senses. Alerting the
soul of a comforting, soothing sensation. Just as
the letdown of almond, minty copper tresses did.
Now onto the last parting of the business day,
the creamy pearl studs. The final piece swirling into
a jewelry bowl on my counter. All is calm until
the alarm of the morning rays touching the edge of
my bed.
Hmm a soft sigh is released as the warmth of the
tea is absorbed from tongue to core of soul. Hmm
so gentle, massaging my throat.
A slight whisper escapes my rosy lips. A murmur
of yesterday, recalled. Ah yes. A soothing moment
to close my eyes and enjoy.
Soft I laugh then smile like the quirky lady people
rarely see. Those who have understand this woman.
Soon I finish off this cup. Needing another one.
Ah I love the roll of the last sip. The textures upon
my tongue. The single most amazing sensation as the
last drop from porcelain slides down my throat. A
cooling of sorts.
Now up I bound for another cup. Same tea bag,
lots of scalding hot water and nothing else. Dear
friend, if you are a tea drinker I would suggest to try.
A bit of dare to try some weeds and roots inside a
soft mesh bag.
See I laughed at the dare. Now smiling a big
cheesy grin as though playing tag. Ah seeing,
feeling this joyful. Such the happiness placed before
me.
Thank you dear friend for allowing me this quirky
moment of laughter. Even though you are not here,
beside me still there are plenty of memories that
helped create this beautiful smirk.
A quiet mystery. A dare of sorts: peek inside!
