A whitening
Down, down pouring the whitening from the
sky. A gesture of kindness from Jehovah. The possiblity
of a soft blanket covering the earth. Ah sweet sights
indeed.
A push this morning at exactly six hours of sleep.
Awaking senses, soul to breathe once more the
morning light. Thoughts running through head. All
stop to say walk first.
Getting dressed, warmly. I had not realized the
the sights of outdoors until I opened my front door.
All I noticed was the bright lighting of nature. Soon,
opening door I saw light flakes. Still I pressed on.
Enjoying my one on one with my Father, Jehovah.
Ah deep breaths I inhale just to feel the crisp air
slashing all the way to my lungs. So sharp but so
exhilirating.
The thoughts of childhood race through my
mind. Seeing snow fall and racing around the house
trying to get dressed in snowsuit fast enough. Then
playing for hours outside until fingers and face are
completely chapped red. So much fun!
As I walked back towards my house the draft
of the downfall became stronger. Oh how silly I was
sticking my tongue out to enjoy the snowflakes falling.
Ah how I felt amazing to be doing this. Yes childish I
realize but so fun.
Sometimes I forget I too am a child. I have so
much that needs to be taught to me but Jehovah is
taking me through each lesson, one at a time.
To this I am proud to brag that I am his daughter.
A lost sheep that Jehovah found.
So dear friend of mine. I hope you take notice
of whatever weather you have outside and be joyful
that you are able to live through it. That Jehovah gave
you that breath to inhale one more day. Be thankful
of Jehovah's kindness.
A prayer goes out for you. A thought that you too
enjoy this day. Be creative. Have fun and if you are
near a snowfall think of me catching snowflakes upon
my tongue in my morning walk. Laugh and agree that
it is grand I am happy.
A sigh escapes me as I say a colorful hello among
white. Look forward to seeing you.
