Open lessons

Open the mind to the words that are
there. Listen, I say, to the way they soothe,
heal. Just as a storm freshens the earth.
A soft baby cry enlightens a weeping
person.

Open your eyes and see beauty all
around. Talk to our father, Jehovah.
The creator of this masterpiece, of us.
The grandeur displayed in photos seen
around the world.

Oh speak of the greatest adventure,
of waterfalls that steal your breath just
recalling. Oh the memories shake you.

Smile greets a darkened room brings
joy to at least one. A thoughtful greeting,
a hug, a card brightens someone's cloud.
Brings joy, hope and warm sunshine to
their eyes, soul.

My thoughts on you makes a rainbow
seem dim. Jehovah, I thank you for allowing
me those grand entrances. Hope that
some day I get the best too.

Grand times bring words that whisper,
tickle my skin. Ah how I smile then giggle.
So happy.

One day I will see you again, hold you
and we three will dance in circles, falling
to the ground.

Shaking, hoping soon is here before
tomorrow and yet I know it is a year half
away. Every day I close my eyes and
see a brighter palette. A contagious smile
that doesn't leave until I see you again.
Holding deep inside, my shaking nerves
and still my knees knocking in waiting,
hoping, wanting time to fly by just so I
can be with you again.

      Healed and learning.
           Laughter and hope.
                       Love and time.
                               Peace and joy.
