Happy fireworks
Peaceful silence before the bustling
of the morning rush. Inhale the sharp, cold
morning air. The feeling of senses shocked
and awakened.
Oh the cool breeze is welcomed on my
face. Clearing my anxieties of the workload
soon to be on my plate. Just one moment
that is mine and Jehovah's.
So sacred is my prayer. Thanks and
guidance are given. Opening spirit
to soar, to be joyous. Laughter echoes
in air as the wind tickles.
Soon I shiver and reality hits, I
should go back inside and place my
shawl around shoulders. Hmm giddy
I am, rushing to do so then exit building
to breathe in crisp autumn air once more.
All is forgotten. So happy. For now explosions
of fireworks erupt inside me.
