Would you listen or balk

Though there will be a time when I am trying to save your life, you will have to choose.

So my hope is that even though I am a friend and a listener you will press past my grievances and listen to me.

Yet in all honesty the mind of mine says what the gut already knows. And I hope I am so dearly wrong.

My dear friend would you listen to me if I said what I said or would you balk it up to a vendetta thing?

I know not right now. I can only pray. I can only hope.

Rely on Jehovah for when I am told to help. So just listen when I say something important.

Don't be quick to believe I am out for something. Not harm, just peace and love.

If you can believe that then I am very hopeful.

Until that day I can only be me.
