Sweetness in Dreams

Dreams clearly pulling up levers to open into
reality. Oh holding onto the checklist of a million
reasons why not to adventure into a moment.

Still the push of instincts, of the braves steps
with Jehovah's help. Oh how I throw these negative
reasons to Jehovah. Giving him the opportunity to lift
this daughter.

Shh careful of the predators lurking. Shielded
by Jehovah, I step cautiously. Entertaining the new steps
of learning, attaining these dreams.

Oh one by one the open doors burst and shouts
of "welcome" come pouring through.

So dearly is the first, scared and nervous, step.
Still I am confident that Jehovah will help me. Oh the
joy just leaps from my spirit. You can see it in the smiles,
the laughter and the sparkle in cornflower blues.

Softly I giggle as the tiny slivers of sunlight invade
the living room. Quietly I observe the shifting of
the shadows, the cloud play dancing against the window.

Oh to watch as even the pen I am using cast a long
narrow line across parchment. Indeed simple parts of
joy inside a memory. Silent yet roaring I am.

Seated, here, inside a golden tapestry. Cushioned
by a high wing back Victorian chair. Softly I curl my
knees. Silly, I recall reading books of adventure,
mystery and writings of girlish dreams.

So sweetly a smirk glides over my lips bringing
joy upon my high cheekbones.

So many dreams to recall. Yet one stand out,
shines brighter than the rest. Indeed, one day, I
will share.

Hmm the soft, slow exhale forms a sigh and
tweaks the corners of rosy lips. Hinting of a small
snicker. Ever so slight is a bounce as I realize the
hopes are attainable. One by one gaining ground
towards the dreams.

Hmm dear friend just ask, just pray for one
day you too will see the hints of smirks, of radiance
shining throughout this sibling. So just keep hoping.

Please, please don't forget to smile, bring
laughter and plenty of surprises too. For know this,
in return I give to you.
