Learn of my dreams

Holding onto a dream. Clearly at hand
the memories crowd, invade. Entering a moment of
chaos but I hold tightly to the time, etched.

Carefully I smile as the times echo into
the wind. Words may falter but the voice is strong.
Holding clearly onto a hope. One step is saying yes. The
next is up in the air.

Oh how soft the fingers pull over the
covers. Here I gently tug across the plains. Holding,
hoping. Open to loving guidance. Yet how do I absorb?

Shh take just one moment, a few minutes out
your busy schedule to walk with me. Entertain your
mind to my experiences. Holding back any judgement
you may want to press. Hold clear the prescribed verbs
that may spring inside your mind. Hold back, listen.

Oh one simple step. How could anyone ever
understand without the patience to listen. Oh do
you want to ask questions, do you want to learn?

Here, allow me a moment of peace to
collect all of my dreams. Clinging to the reality that
some I may only close my eyes to attain. Others I will
gain with persistence, with time.

Careful I may push back at your questions.
I may retaliate just to protect my hopes, my
dreams. No, not wanting to hurt any one person but
just the same ~ I don't want someone to tear me
down.

Ever clear are the steps I have taken to
attain the tiniest of goals, details. Adding up to
the grandest of dreams. I just want, hope all would
press me closer. I only hope those who love me, will
help guide me towards ways to gain moments closer.

Oh how just to open one dream. Opening up
the possibilities of letting someone in to see all the
dreams, all the goals forward facing into the sun light.

Perhaps that one second, that one minute
you took walking, learning of me may invite you to
listen one day more. The necessity to want to help,
to push just as Jehovah is.

So do you want, do you hope to be one of my
loving siblings to walk, to learn of me?
