A Silent Good Night
Silently I hold my prayer. Somewhat leary of the
state of alert my mind is in. Sleep, though, what I need.
Still the soul quivers at the echoing sigh falling from
lungs.
Shh I whisper inside my mind. Relax. Submit to the
sleep you need. Still so alarmed I am. The eyes flash
a silvery hue inside the dim lit room.
So here I ask of any family, moreover friends
To say good night among the hurried winds. Oh in the
grand hopes that the opened lids begin their slow
descent into a calming serenity.
Dare I ask, really?
Indeed all is worth a try for just a short few hours
I must, once again, start my day in the working world.
So more sighs frame the cool temperature in the
room. They gain so many levels of giggles as the prayers
are rolling in.
Thank you Jehovah for listening. Even now I find myself
fighting to keep silvers open. Hmm yes I agree the yawns,
the stretches are the best signal to excuse my mind into
a bit of hibernation until 3:30 am.
So to my dear friend I hope, you too, gain some
well needed sleep. I pray the day brings a new set of
joys and may Jehovah give you the strength to
triumph over any obstacle standing in the way of those
joyous moments.
Now send me a hug and whisper a soft good night.
Perhaps those words will soothe me completely into the
next day.
One can hope. Now smile. Good night dear friend
and family.
