Night folds
Intriguing soft steps. Brown
spots. Perked ears.
Flashes of gray, blue and white.
Sitting on wrought iron. Perched with
brown twigs.
The day falls to night. As whiskers
twitch. Nibbling on last minute
greens.
Legs spinning wires across the
corners. Setting in until morning
dew leaves drops.
Deep humming of flits, black and
yellows. Busy, busy they are. Closing
evening from midday.
Oranges, browns, creams, yellows
head into glazes. Bringing food to
fragrant aromas.
Tending a warm inner.
Slight purples glare over us.
White and blue darken.
Sparkles arrive. Stunning breaths.
To call, beckon sleep for some.
Light kisses. Says good night.
See morn later.
Early memories found in faded
photographs. Imagine variety in black
and white. See me there - waving.
