Amused
Today was good. Enjoyed work thoroughly and tried to alter the thoughts of the younger crowd I work with. Trying to make them see that gossip does nothing but harm everyone. I then tried to persuade them to talk about something else besides who was annoying them, relating their entire experience upon someone else's experience. In some cases it is good to use others as examples but in the case of learning about a person, likened to the Watchtower today/tomorrow, James 1:19 "quick to listen, slow to speak."
Learn about people and don't go off assumptions. Maybe someone had a bad experience with someone. You should NEVER let that be how you feel about someone. You may actually get a supreme experience with someone. And who knows you may even learn something from that person.
Alas I tried to make them see but some just are all talk and not listening. Time will help them and so will my prayers.
So now after I have re read my Watchtower and amazed just how Jehovah works, I have found such an awesome find on Netflix. I found The Lake House. It is now available to watch on Netflix. Sounds silly but I do so love this movie. I am super excited that I can laugh and cry and laugh some more with this movie. In fact it takes me back to a Hallmark movie about a desk from 1860s. It was called the Love Letter. Starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Campbell Scott. It is very similar but a sad ending. Then it takes me to Somewhere in Time with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves.
Indeed I like these kinds of movies.
So tonight is settling in with The Lake House and some water. Then bed. However a grand day tomorrow. I start off the day with my meeting and then traveling to the southern part of Ohio. Goodness I am looking forward to finding what is necessary to keep the year running smoothly.
