Covers of steamed joy

Tired are the eyes. Heavy is the mind. Soft are
the dreams. Hoping the red velvet covers absorb
the sleeping whimpers.

Oh hold tight to the warmth. Send off the prayers.
Give thanks to Jehovah and all those helping to bring
safety to my during my trial and journey.

Oh how joyful the spirit soars. The senses all relaxed
and ready for the nap. So much left to do but the
paled soul lays peacefully. Drifting eyes shut and
flicker back open. Seconds of reality before dreams,
memories take hold for a few hours.

So soothing was the rain. As was the steam rising
to bring all stiffness to an end. Vanilla to calm and
mandarin oranges to send soul into motion.

Ah still I have to unpack. The bags, suitcases left
seated inside my trunk until the evening hours, I
suppose. For the rest is begging freckled paleness into
a dreamy cloud of joy.

So dear friend I hope you enjoyed a moment in the
rain as I did. Allowing even a jaunt with an umbrella
or two outside. I hope that you smiled because the
day brought some joy into your spirit. If it has yet to
do so, hug someone, smile or kiss someone. See their
face light up in surprise. Just don't leave this day
in downcast.

Please I beg of your joy be placed upon someone
else for a few minutes. Be happy.

For here I am smiling and thinking about a surprise
you bring towards anyone. A grand hug to you dear
one.
