Lights of strength

Lights all around. Bright and flashing. Holding
my eyes alert. Softly I chuckle in midst of the singing
of song.

Funny how the joy of a prayer is answered. In
a moment of hope. So much can be said when the
lights go down. The paleness opens up to Jehovah
in the best and worst of times.

Like the fog that hovers over the tallest building
Jehovah stands listening to my words. Helping me
reach for all that I need to strengthen myself. That
I must shout a grand thanksgiving to Jehovah for
allowing me those moments.

Standing here enjoying the scenery on the roof
of my parking garage. Such glory of Jehovah. The
palette he uses. Striking.

Still I feel a little weak kneed but I know I can
lean upon Jehovah for everything. This brings such a
shy smile over my pale lips. Watching as the baby
blues sparkle in their brilliance. Oh such grand love
overcomes me. Washing away all the emptiness and
sorrow.

I breathe. Taking in all I can before the
day of work. Not quite ready to go inside. Enjoying
the moment now in my car as the lyrics of "Love
Doesn't Ask Why" are sung in my ears.

Becoming mellow. A soothing relaxer. Hmm.
Then pulled up by "I Still Believe in You". Oh yes I
can go into anything. Thanking Jehovah.

Holding onto the hope of opportunities and
grand possibilities. All opened from a silent prayer
to my Father, Jehovah, God.

So dear friend what has pulled you to your feet
today? A song? A kiss from a loved one? A phone
call? A walk in nature?

I pray for you. Hoping that today brings a joyful
smile upon your face. From what? Oh I did not say
specifics. I hope you can decide upon that all by
yourself.

I hope you were able to recall those precious
moments when people gave you a generous,
sincere thank you. How did you respond? How did
they respond? Remember and hold a smile for just
a moment or two.

For I recalled a moment when I gave thanks to
a friend. Silence echoed while I stood there beaming.
Such a quirky me moment. The hope had been heard.

And now do I give thanks over and over? Yes. If
that person is listening. Oh goose bumps crawl over
me as I recall and ask that question.

Yes a wider smile is seated upon my face.
Crinkled almond shaped corners. Ah laugh lines. So
wonderful.

Off to work I go. Into a world of possibilities.

Will you be happy for me today?
