Wired words simplified
Wired free are the distances I want to
travel. Holding onto the possibilities opened. Whether
the choice I make is worth it all.
Oh how the gleam falls open into a
canvas. The words I carve through minds are lavishly
placed upon parchment through the utensil of
ink.
Oh how far the travels must be presented
as I ease myself into thoughts of gentle kindness.
Softness of displays carried by the wind,
by the buzzing of insects. Still all is so silent.
Holding onto a dream. Pressed currently into
reality, I hope for all to be known. One day at a time
worries fall away from paleness.
Moments spread great lengths and memories
span decades or lifetimes. How is it that all seems
as though none of it comes from my voice, yet,
somehow, somewhere I am standing, listening?
Oh thoughts rumble down through me,
finding their places among the simplicity of nature.
A small joy of ladybugs or that of plucking daisies.
Ever gentle is a childish giggle that breaks
into the air, the eerie silence. Some sort of sneeze
that awakens, alerts all surrounding.
Hmm tender are the affections of siblings.
Here. Gone. Lost. Searching. Words they say to each
other help lift, encourage, bring laughter and smiles
and even surprise a few. Just hope to gain one
more of those tiny seconds. One of those moments
that stay blazing upon spirit and paled soul for hours
upon end.
Still a cooling effect that simplifies all that
is complex. Surprisingly friendships do that too.
