Red flowers
I rise early today to see if there are flowers blooming yet. Still a few more days and all my tulips will litter the yard and begin this garden. Today I am extra skippy because of the last day of work until next week. Even more so is that next week I have only two days before a long vacation.
Pretty hyped for that. Not because I despise work but because the last vacation was in November. So the need is pretty high with all the changes inside the store. Then I am giddy because extra training is coming at the end of the month. A new exchange of ideas and movement of life.
It is moments like this that have me bouncing in joy. So sure you could say I am like the kid in the candy store. There is no limit to the amount of beauty I hope to pursue. Life is just a piece of the puzzle I get to have today.

Then I smile because I saw red flowers on a page somewhere amidst animals. So I am happy a focus can be pursued. Honing in on, perhaps, finding a point of focus or sharpness of edges. See for me it is not always about the bloom but the petals or the edges.
It is good to see some doing intensity and others expanding to the wide berth. And as this day unfolds I am sure that is what will play parts in my life. Deep concentration and then the span of wide open spaces.
I also am well aware of the tension I am going to have at work but I am well assured that my anxiety is frivolous. And still the nerves do kick me. I understand that all will be better once that bit of the day is over.
Tiny hurdles to overcome. Yet the day has so much more instances of wonder that a bump in the road could not stop the abounding joy. So sure I may be a tinge nervous but always looking for the good in the situation.
So friend, how is the morning starting for you? I hope all is decisive but also exploratory. And as the day unfolds a bit of chipper news entertains a smile for you. Today I smile and recall laughter. Quirkiness and joy.
Find your place in the day. Even if it is for a moment or two. And above all smile, keep going forward with the works of nature. Beauty. And find focus.
