Blink and believe
Crunching heard in the cool
midnight air. A soft breeze lifts and
plays a melody with cinnamon strands.
A smile caresses the warm cheeks.
Slowly intake of the fresh air.
The exhale sharp, quick only to
have another woodsy inhale.
Eyes close slowly to take
in fullest experience. Oh Jehovah
I thank you for the crisp evening
light. So glorious are the twinkling
stars.
Slate gray to baby blue emerge
from warm coal lashes. Admitting all
the marvelous grandeur given.
Just wanted to announce that
even though the chill is daunting the
fronts the wondrous, heated spirit
glares throughout.
Such joy I express for you, for me.
A moment to agree, to state yes once
more.
Did you hear, feel the wind touch your
face as I did? Blink and believe.
Jehovah hears, knows us all.
