Serenity in a storm
Hmm seated outside after a storm. How is it
that the mugginess is still here?
So happy that the day is calming. Ha but the little
birds are just talking away. La. I actually thought it
was someone using a squeeky toy. Come laugh with
me and listen.
Huge sighs escape and now the evening breeze
is calling. Tickling my face with warm kisses. Oh how
I breathe in the scents surrounding.
I hope that all my friends and family are doing
well. Still so much winding on my mind. One by
one I open them into the talk with my Father, Jehovah.
Listening he does so well. Compassionate Jehovah
is. Hmm. Such clarity pops up over a building and
the weights that have been suppressing me is
lifted. Ah this is the wonders of Jehovah's holy spirit.
The branches of love spread throughout the world.
Now, just this second, they have focused on me. Yes
I do believe in Jehovah's span of time my prayer
was heard. How about yours?
Oh how softly I chuckle thinking of a puffed cloud
and through it is seated a voice, listening. A child's
view of who Jehovah may be.
Alas here comes more rain. Rehydrating the
Earth with nutrients. Oh such a fall. Lasting only
minutes. Hmm. Creative our Father, Jehovah, God
is. Hitting here and there.
Opened are areas of light. No rain falling. Once
again quietness soothes the soul and the spirit
prepares for another descent of water.
Almost as though someone in is turning on and
off the faucet trying to figure out where the water
comes from. Ah I love scenery such as this, don't you?
Soft echoes giggle out of my lips. Falling upon
the warm breeze. Uphill the swiftness goes and still
I am motionless. So much can expand and yet I
do not approach that. I absorb what is given.
So here I am just waiting, recalling the irony how
moments ago I said to a neighbor that the major
storm is over. Still small, sporadic rain falls are
arriving shortly.
Hmm joy sits here inside my spirit. Allowing all that
bothered me today fall down the trickling rivers
of water. Making a trail to the drains. Hmm. Indeed
a smile sits over my lips.
Yes I am enjoying the movement of others. Watching.
Observing. Thinking.
Come now, smile with me. Sit outside and enjoy
these calm, serene moments with me.
