Braids unbound
At last my mind unwinds from the standing
courage and the bouncing joy foaming inside my
spirit.
Ah finally to let the pins hold my coppery
strand fall to the floor. Soft echoes clatter on white
sheets of diamonds.
Giggles erupt from my lips as the braids unwind
and tickle my neck. The gentle wisps of air lift
strand to cause more laughter to open up.
Ah I stand here viewing in the mirror as the
puffy layers of copper, red and blond bouncy along
my shoulders caressing down mid back.
Oh such a child like moment. Ever joyous.
Ever glorious. Shining bright just from a simple task.
Shhh. If you listen hard enough you just may
hear the giggles in the air.
Oh how I must go stand outside for a moment
to breathe. Just inhale the memory made today.
Lean into the air and hold onto my hope for another
bit of joy to be absorbed.
One more step. Ah here I am silly. Just loving
every minute of an unbounding joy. Oh so much
rattle echoes.
So here I go outside in my black skirt, cream top
and laughing blue eyes. Ah still unraveling braids.
So many.
Hmm dear friend where will you be in a moment's
time?
