Morning joys
A good morning to inhale. Seated, here, in my
green floral chair upon the concrete, iron balcony
enjoying the sweet melodies of the birds. Sweetness
of Jehovah's love is all around.
One by one the sighs fall open into the sparce
breeze. Still cool enough to enjoy the brushes.
Softly the copper curls whisper into the wind,
dancing around cornflower blues.
Ah comfortable to unload the aches of the
night into the morning light. A gentle smile shines
from within.
The moment of solitude talking with our Father,
Jehovah, God about the heavy weights from the
dreams echoing throughout my mind and the strength
I need to push forward for the day.
Jehovah does listen. No longer do the chores of
the day unfold as a thrashing mess. They become
the notes inside a silent breath. So easy going.
The softness of the breeze, the opening of
a brand new day all come with the grand appreciation
of just being here. I thank Jehovah for waking me
once more, for the breath inside my lungs to cling
to.
Ah grand is the foggy, heated morning. Smug
are the clouds hanging low. Calming is the overcast
sky. Much is observed in the swaying of the branches,
the leaves upon a tree. So beautiful is their waltz
with the wind.
Such majestic beauty laid before me.
Unwinding. Positive. Ever so uplifting the soaring
spirit.
Sweetness is the kind, loving thoughts of
Jehovah. Many thoughts and prayers I hold. Opening
even more as I inhale my deep, meditating breaths.
Dear friend I hope today proves to be a good
day for you. Today just so happens to be my favorite
day of the week. I look forward to every possible
glimmer of hope.
So here I prepare for the grand adventures I
may partake in today. Hmm. Seated here taking a
sip from my favorite tea mug. One last sip as I allow
the cup to slip from my fingers. Crashing to the
floor below.
Concrete greeted brown glazed pottery with
loving arms. Exploding red tea all over. Absorbing
the moisture like a hungry lion. Dried and shrugging.
At least there is a banana nut muffin to
enjoy. A bit of sadness and lots of joy in the outcome.
