Evening solitude in rain sprinkles

Hmmm a warming scent of musky rain to behold.
Hiding my eyes with olive frames I look up to the
sky. Holding a smile wide as I giggle with the simplicity
of joy falling down.

Yes just a small amount of rain tonight. Not enough
to dance in. Still I walked in it with such tiny pinpoints
of bliss.

Holding my face and arms up to feeling the
droplets fall. Scrolling themselves down lengths.

So happy. Now just listening to the birds chattering.
Enjoying my moments outside. Hearing the leaves
rattle in preparation for another fall.

Oh I will listen. Hold onto the hope that is there.
The mugginess of an evening rainfall. Oh just enough
to tickle the earth. Ah ha the smile that sits here.

La. Perhaps I am silly but giving thanks for just
the beauty in a shower is such a raging necessity.
What do you think dear friend?

The sky appears to be hazy and wind seems to be
talking. Indeed all there lies another chance of rain,
yes?

Oh I wrap myself tighter inside my coral pink
cardigan enthralled by the gentleness of the air.
Seated upon concrete and iron watching as neighbors
pass under umbrellas. Not calling out, just observing.

Preparing myself for my reading lesson. To learn
more about Jehovah. Oh just saying his name a
chill warms me. Lifting loosened strands of copper
inside a breeze. Oh I feel so loved.

Now just relaxing as the world passes by in
rapid paces. I just hold onto the simple moments
inside new memories.

So dear friend what will you be doing this evening?
